Winter concert on the bay

Just came back from city, went to first Winter Concert at Darling Harbour. Two more concerts on coming Saturdays, today was Orchestra concert. Reached city at around 6pm, Takemi went for haircut before concert at Market City. The lady boss of the salon is Malaysian-Chinese, according to the Jap gal who served Takemi. I was a bit jealous seeing Takemi chatting happily with that pretty Jap gal. It took about 45minutes for the haircut, I was thinking could it be that gal wanna talk to Takemi more so that she cut his hair slowly? I dont know why I think that way. While we were walking to Darling Harbour, Takemi asked me were I jealous when he talking to the Jap gal at salon. I was surprise how did he knows that... he told me my face says it!

We could hear the melody as we approaching Darling Harbour. It was quite crowed at Darling Harbour even in the cold winter night. We had beer and kebab for dinner at the deck while enjoying nice music, and it is nice for hugging at cold night too. Indoor concerts are normally very serious , no foods and chit-chat allowed. I like this kind of outdoor concert, we can enjoy nice food in nice ambiance. The concert ended with the stunning fireworks finale to the inspired masterpiece Rhapsody in Blue made an unforgettable evening.

Darling Harbour is a hot spot for buskers, I guess maybe because it is a tourist attraction. There was a busker perfoming at Darling Harbour after the concert. His skill was soso, but he did bring laughters to the crowd. The busker has long beard, I was thinking what if his beard get burnt when he performing with fire torches.

We stopped by at a pub for a drink when we were on our way to subway station. There is a small stage for karaoke in the pub, which bring the life to the pub I believe. The pub is not much different from pubs in Sg, is the customers that make a different to the pub. Generally, Aussie or western people are more open , active and dare to try.

I had a really good evening today.... oyasumi darling.

Handsome darling with new haircut...
