I like raining in the morning, just before daybreak. Curled up in the warm bed listening to rain and thinking of nothing. As it promised, rainy days always bring peace to my mind, I feel so calm and relax when raining. Suddendly I felt so lucky to have such a comfortable home.
I used to lived in a cottage located on a palm tree farm during my childhood. It was a wooden house and the roof was made from leaves, there was not any ceiling. When it rains, I can hear the rain very clear. I like heavy rains, but the roof always leaked when it rains. My parents were worried about flooding during raining season. As for kids, we like flooding simply we can "swim" anywhere we like. However, I hated the period of drying off because there was not any cement floor! Yes, the cottage was built on the soil. We had to walk on the sticky yucky soil and our feet were always dirty.
Parents used to catch frogs on rainy days, they were out in the morning as early as 4am! Sometimes my two elder sisters went along with them, thus they learnt how to catch the frog. There was once my 2nd sister was catching frogs in the evening, and mum and I were watching from the far. We saw sis spotted a frog and she slowly bended down and snapped it up quickly... Guess what! The frog has long tail.... oh no!... it was a snake!! Sis let go the snake and ran away in a split second. Since then, no more frogs catching for my poor sis.

Although I did not have luxury toys and comfortable home when I was little, but my childhood memories were all precious moments to me. In my dreams, the place called home is always that cottage on the farm.
