Completed First Aid course today, I am now a qualified Senior First Aider. However, I will only receive the certificate 2 weeks later. I cant imagine if I would have to use any First Aid techniques on injured children, I might be the one whom need to be treated for shock!
I am looking forward of meeting children at playsession every Thursday, meanwhile I am nervous of working with my team member. When Diana doing the grouping yesterday, I was praying so hard not to get the ignorant young gal as my member. Gosh!! I should have chatted with god more often. I tell myself not to be too judgmental or else we would not be able to work together as a team.
Lecturers working in this institute is miserable, they do not have their own office like lecturers in Singapore. Another thing, there is no signage outside offices, hence it is difficult for new student like me to locate a particular lecturer. I had difficulties to locate the course coordinator as her office is in the Staff amenities room!
The campus is not very big, small library and canteen too. Small canteen I guess is because of students bring their own foods as there are facilities of hot water and microwave available in the campus. Most of my classmates bring their own lunch too. I came back to home for lunch for last few days, I think I should bring lunch to school too, so that I can have some interaction with other students during lunch time.
Australia is really a multi-cultures country, we have 2 Vietnamese, 1 Korean, 1 Filipino, 1 Indian, 1 Taiwanese and 1 Malaysian in the class!

This is only second week in TAFE, so many asigments and assessments. Children coming to playhut next week and we have to get ready for work attachment in Nov as well.
