S.I.C.K

It is flu season I guess, there of us are sick right now. First, T was sick for few days. He had fever, cough, sore muscles and runny nose. Then, J got the virus too. He had fever for two days, his body temperature was like roller coaster. When his body temperature was stabilised and I started to relax a bit, he started to have runny nose and cough! After a few days, the last giant also got the virus. Mama is always the strongest one, but not this time. T is now overseas, he called... guess what, he got the flu back again! We are all sick... stay away from us!

Brought J to doctor last Tuesday, he got 3 types of medicines - pink, clear and brown. He dislikes the brown one, he vomited a few times after I forced him to take it. But, I feel happy when he vomited even though I had to clean up cos those nasty phlegm came out together. I was against forcing kids (physically) to take medicine, but in John's case if I didn't do that he would not want to take it at all and he will grab and throw the spoon. Now, I will hold his hands tightly when feeding him medicine. He will make some noises as if he is telling me that he does not like it, but.... when I say "open your mouth please", he will open his mouth. Even though he is unwilling, he will still swallow the syrup. Sorry baby, I know it is awful. But you are sick, you need to take medicine to get well. Thank you baby, for being such a good boy.

Today, I can see he is getting better with minimal coughing at night. But mama is going the other way, runny nose is now blocked sometimes. I am worry that he will get the virus again...
