Have not posted anything here for a month! Always blog about food at My Kitchen. Was not that busy, had two weeks school holidays 2 weeks ago. Visited Melbourne and nearby suburbs during holidays, and one of the most excited events was meeting our online friend - Humphrey. I got to know him from YM and we have known each other for more than 5 years! Tak said he is a nice guy. Should have brought my camera with me when we met.

During the short trip, we visited Peninsula Hot Spring, Enchante Maze, T'Gallant Winery, Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm and Casino in Melbourne city. Did not have enough time to walk around the city even though we were renting a car.

The outdoor natural hot spring was great. We went there in the evening and soaked in the hot spring for 90 minutes. It was so relaxing when soaking in the pool with jacuzzi under the twink light. It is too far from here, otherwise I might go there every week.

T'Gallant is located in the winery tour area, we were not planned to visit there actually. We planned to visit brewery which is located in the same area but it was closed. So we just dropped in at T'Gallant when we saw the sign along the way. We had lunch under the sun, overseeing the vintage... it was not as hot as I thought it would be. I ordered a thin crust mushroom pizza, it was superb. I liked the fact that they served it on a chopping board. Tak ordered a cheese platter, he loved it. There were small herbs garden around the restaurant, and fig trees too!

Went to strawberry farm which is within 500m from the restaurant. It was another virgin experience for me. I am glad that Tak loved strawberry picking too. I was thinking Tak might not enjoy as much as I do as he had visited u-pick strawberry farm before. We were there for about an hour, picking and eating. I liked the picking experience in the sense that there were only two of us in the farm. We took our own sweet time looking for big and red berries. Maybe we were monitored from distance? The newly picked strawberries tasted so sweet. At that moment, I realised that why a lot of people like to eat strawberries. Before that, I always wondering that why people like to eat strawberries as those we bought from supermarket were not that sweet.

The beach there was so so beautiful and clean. It was just across the street from where we stayed. Oh ya... we stayed at a studio room, it is huge! It comes with king bed, jacuzzi bath, and a small kitchen. I was telling Tak that with the same price, we can only get a standard room in the city. Let these beautiful photos do the talking...
