She was a HE

Met a gal from Malaysia at Health Centre the other day. She was queuing behind me and she saw my Malaysia passport. She initiated a conversation while we were waiting for our name to be called. I realised that she was/is a HE soon after we talked. She is applying for PR and she was not shy to tell me that she is applying PR on De Facto basis. She is from KL, a nice and gorgeous 'woman'.

I am watching Oprah show on TV now, today's topic is about "He or She is not the person I married". Husband of a couple who has married for 10 years decided to be a woman, he changed sex 5 years ago. They are still married, living in the same house and sleeping in the same bed. I admire the courage of his wife for accepted 'her', sharing clothes and doing all the girly stuffs together with the guy she loved. Perhaps they love each other deeply and their love is strong enough to experience such a big challenge in life and marriage.

What would you do if your husband want to be your sister? Have you ever thought about that? Can you accept your partner if he decided to become a SHE? Can you still love him as the husband you used to love before? Can you imagine yourself resting on 'her' breasts after making love? How do you explain to your kids why they do not have daddy? Why they have 2 mums?
