John has found his new play area, papa's wardrobe! He can open the sliding door himself and sometimes almost his whole body will be in the wardrobe, either head in or legs in. He will cry for help when he "finished" playing in it, and could not get out. He was still smiling when caught in action!
John would not be patient enough to finish all his lunch when he is sleepy. I have observed this several times, he cried for milk when I was feeding him and fell asleep soon after he got his milk. Some people thought that he looks cute even when he is upset. Sometime papa did nothing but just observing him when he was crying... my poor baby!
Milestones observed
Cognitive Skills:
Problem Solving - He held rattle in his left-hand and banging on the table. I placed one hand on the table to prevent him from making loud sound. He moved his rattle away and banging on area which was not covered by my hand. Then I placed both hands on the table to cover as much surface as possible. He could not reach/bang his rattle on the table with his left-hand, then he passed the rattle to he his right-hand and BANG BANG BANG... Papa and mama was amazed seeing him solving the problem.
Memory Skill - Show signs of developing memory skill especially during feeding time. Will make noises when he saw his bowl or when someone is eating.
Physical Skills:
He can now sit with little support, but he perspired a lot when he was sitting and playing. He is able to cruise around freely in his walker and able to control the direction he is heading to. As for fine motor skills, his is using palmer grasp but has gained better control in picking up and releasing objects.
About his physical growth in term of height and weight, he is getting taller but did not get much weight increases. Another thing I noticed is that his "muscles" became softer after he switched to Frisolac for more than 2 months, it feels like I could touch his bone when I carry him... I want my little sumo back.
Language Skills:
Demonstrate understanding of language when mama says "bao bao", "stand up", "sit sit"... etc
Social/Emotional Skills:

Went to Cameron Highland with my sister and her family during Hari Raya holidays. It was my first trip to CH even though we are now living nearby. We rented an apartment, it was a double-storey terrace house to be specify. It comes with 4 bedrooms and each room has an attached bathroom. We visited strawberry farm, bee farm, tea plantation, butterfly farm, cactus point and so forth.
Bought some veggies, a pot of rose and strawberry from Cameron Highland. Rose and strawberry still doing well, flowers are bloossom now and strawberry plant is also fruiting.
