Watching documentary program about chimpanzees. The young chimpanzees behave like children, they learn social and interaction skills through social referencing(observation) and plays. The types of play are very similar to children's rough and tremble plays. Hugging is their way of greeting each other. I get to ask myself, are they really ancestors of homosapiens? Pondering and wondering...
There are wild chimpanzees living outside the 'triangle', a particular area for so called 'good' chimpanzees. The good chimp will be attacked by wild chimp outside the triangle. Again, I get to think about our society, are we retarding to the before civilisation stage? More pondering and wondering...
