This will be the first year in my life celebrating Chinese New Year abroad, perhaps I should say first time in my life not celebrating Chinese New Year. Make it worst, Tak is now in Japan. Lonely me. For the past few years I did not have the same feeling I had when I was little, the meaning for CNY has changed as time goes by. I suppose this is true for all grown up. But, this year I feel different. I miss my family, have not seen my 2nd sis and her family for more than 2 years... and my brother and his family for more than 5 years or longer?
It is pretty quiet in here even thought a lot of Chinese celebrating the CNY. The celebration in here are focusing more on the entertainment, for example lion dance and stage performances. Whereas, back to home we are focusing on family such as reunion dinner and visiting relatives during this festive season. Anyway, going to watch lion dance and performance at small chinatown at me area and will snap some photos to post here.
