Good or Bad News First?

Well, I usually pick bad news first if someone asked me that question.

The bad news is we had a burglary at our apartment this morning at around 6am. I was about to go to toilet at that time. First thing I sensed something not right was the wardrobe door was open. I have a habit of making sure all the wardrobe doors are closed before going to bed. Then, when I walked out the bedroom, I saw a shadow on the wall near to the main door. In my mind... couldn't be Tak, I saw him next to me when I woke up. Straight away I shouted "who's that???" with a very strong voice. Then, I saw the damn (pardon my language) burglar ran to balcony and climbed up to 6th floor. Too bad that I didn't see his face. After 2 or 3 minutes when Tak was making police report, I saw a guy wearing the same clothes walking out the building with a jumper covering his face. I took some photos and showed them to police officers but they said that the "evidence" is not enough as that type of cloth is very common.

Since then, I have been thinking a lot of things, too many to mention all here. The thing that worried me most is that the burglar has seen our face and he knows both of us. I just don't feel comfortable when thinking of this, feeling like someone is stalking us. Tak feels the same too.

Here is the list of items stolen:

*Cash - A lot... to us, yes it is a lot.

*Watches - Rolex & Concord (left behind seikos!!)

*Jewelleries - Including costume jewelleries!! Yes, Angie, the necklace you gave me also gone.

*Academic Transcript - WTF, I don't know why he needs that.

If I woke up 5 minutes later, all of Tak's certificates and transcripts will be gone too. I found the folder on the floor at the balcony together with 2 empty jewellery boxes.

Even though we went to Watson Bay as planned, we were not care free and did not really enjoy the quality time together. Our mood was just like the cloudly sky...

Now... the good news is, I received the first mail from my niece in KL. She sent me a Christmas card together with a photo of her with her brother. Thank you for your card and photo. Kind of missing them now... I love you too, JW and SQ.
